Build the life you're excited for
There’s a lot of talk these days about building the life you really want and not just focusing on the money.
If I had to guess, I’d say most people are probably like me in this respect — we hear this being talked about, we understand it, then we don’t do anything about it and just continue on with our day as we usually would.
But, earlier this year I went on a trip that actually had me thinking about this quite a bit.
It was a 5-6 day trip to Florida that was probably one of my favorite trips I’ve ever taken.
Yet, when the time came, I was excited to go home…
After having such a great trip, I was surprised I felt that way, then I realized it’s because I’ve actually been designing a life I want to live — one I don’t need vacations from.
The point of this short story is to challenge you all to think about the things you’re doing in your life and how you’re designing your life.
When you go on a trip, are you dreading returning to your everyday life, or are you excited to get back after it?
Design accordingly…
All the best,
